Drews Ltd, known as 'Drews The Ironmongers' is one of Reading's most successful family firms.
We welcome both trade and retail customers alike, offering a wide choice of ironmongery, tools, fixings, plumbing and decorating products (see our store guide) all of which are stocked in depth. We are happy to obtain 'specials' from our many suppliers on your behalf.
A free delivery service is offered within a 15-mile radius of the shop. If you are outside our free delivery area we can send goods to you through the post or via an overnight carrier, for a competitive additional charge.
Carriage charges apply to all online orders because the system we use cannot recognise proximity to our store. If you are local to us and would like to order goods featured on our site please call us on 0118 957 2053.
We are committed members of the British Hardware Federation and the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers.
Our staff are able to offer advice on the full range of products we sell and we look forward to dealing with your enquiries and orders.

Our History
In living memory Reading hosted more than 40 ironmongery stores as well as numerous tool and hardware shops. Many of those firms have closed and since the arrival of the D.I.Y superstores Drews are almost unique in the town as an independent hardware store.
